COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: SUPPORTING FOREIGN LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT STUDENTS IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

On July 15, 2026, the Board of Directors of the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) held a meeting with a group of English Education students from Saigon University who are conducting a research project titled: "Using visualizing Vietnamese methods to support basic English sentence writing skills for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students."

The two sides agreed to cooperate in the future with the following activities:

• Organizing a pilot teaching session: This will enable the student group to refine the remaining stages of their research based on the trial results.

• Organizing an English class for deaf and hard of hearing students and learners aged 15–25 who are currently pursuing secondary and high school education programs.

With close coordination and professional guidance from the teachers at CED and their academic supervisors, the students will be able to develop appropriate plans to ensure their research activities achieve the desired effectiveness.
