ART-CLASS: A BIRTHDAY PARTY UNDER THE OCEAN
On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), students took part in an exciting and engaging Art lesson with the theme “A Birthday Party Under the Ocean.”
During the lesson, under the guidance of their teacher, the students had the opportunity to:
- Imagine a birthday party under the ocean, surrounded by colorful marine creatures and beautiful underwater scenery.
- Draw and decorate birthday party elements, such as birthday cakes, gift boxes, balloons, other decorations, and various sea creatures.
- Choose colors, arrange images, and combine different details to create lively compositions that captured the joyful atmosphere of a birthday celebration.
- Use their imagination and creativity to design their own underwater scenes based on their individual ideas.
Throughout the activity, each student expressed their ideas in different ways. Some focused on drawing marine creatures and underwater scenery, while others added birthday cakes, gift boxes, and decorative details to their birthday party scenes. The artworks featured a variety of colors and compositions, resulting in unique, playful, and delightful creations.
Through this activity, the students had the opportunity to develop their drawing, coloring, and composition skills while strengthening their imagination, creativity, and ability to express ideas through art. The fun and engaging theme also encouraged them to participate enthusiastically and confidently express their own creative ideas.
Each completed artwork represented a unique idea, reflecting the students’ efforts and individual creativity during their Art lesson at CED.
