EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY: MAKING FLOWER BASKETS FROM CIRCLES

On October 16, 2026, primary class students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) participated in an extracurricular activity with the theme “Making Flower Baskets from Circles” to celebrate Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20.

The activity was designed to encourage creativity, develop dexterity, and strengthen fine motor skills through a hands-on art and craft experience. It also provided an opportunity for the students to express their love and appreciation for the special women in their lives.

Under the teacher’s guidance, the students used paper circles to create colorful flower baskets. They had the opportunity to choose their own colors and decorate their baskets with fun shapes and patterns, allowing each student to create a unique piece of artwork.

Through this activity, the students practiced concentration, hand-eye coordination, aesthetic awareness, and patience. The colorful baskets, each decorated in a different way, reflected the students’ creativity and became meaningful handmade gifts for the special women in their lives in celebration of Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20. 💐
