TRAINING PROGRAM: THE COURSE 78 OF SKILLS IN COMMUNICATION WITH PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS (SESSION 2)

On June 14, 2026, the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) held the second session of the “Skills in communication with people with hearing loss” course 78, led by Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh, the Center's Director. The class comprised 29 participants, including 17 professionals from fields such as education, healthcare, marketing, business, and tourism, along with 12 students.

In the second session, participants learned sign language about numbers, calculation and learned sign language of the song “Practice Counting”. Throughout the session, participants are actively practicing communication with the teacher by sign language that helped students to sign correctly and clearly.

Sign language is one of two themes in the training program on Skills in Communication with People with Hearing Loss (Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Late Deafened). The second theme is lipsreading.
