EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY: HYGIENE AND SAFETY

On October 9, 2026, primary class students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) participated in an extracurricular activity with the theme “Hygiene and Safety.”

The program aimed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of personal hygiene, especially the habit of washing their hands before meals to protect their health and keep their hands clean.

Through an instructional video, the students learned about the importance of hand hygiene and how to wash their hands properly. Under the teacher’s guidance, each student then took turns practicing the five steps of handwashing, helping them remember and apply what they had learned in their daily lives. The session concluded with a handwashing song video, allowing the students to review the steps in a fun and memorable way.

This activity helped the students develop good personal hygiene habits while strengthening their observation, memory, and ability to follow instructions. Through these practical experiences, the students gradually learned to take better care of themselves, keep their hands clean, and protect their health before every meal.
