WORKSHOP ON "BUILDING AN ACTION PLAN TO APPLY AND DEVELOP A WORK-STUDY MODEL FOR YOUTH WITH DISABILITIES"

On October 7, 2024, Ms. Tô Thị Bích Phương, Ms. Đoàn Thị Thanh Lan, and Mr. Nguyễn Tấn Thành, representatives of The Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), participated in the workshop titled “Building an Action Plan to Apply and Develop a Work-Study Model for Youth with Disabilities,” organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans.

At the workshop, CED assessed the work-study model for youth with disabilities as highly feasible. Together with four groups of delegates, CED engaged in discussions and contributed many positive ideas on the necessary resources for implementing this model and the role of stakeholders in advancing it.

CED congratulates the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans on the successful organization of the workshop. CED wishes them success in finalizing and implementing the action plan to apply and develop the work-study model, so that people with disabilities in general, and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community in particular, can secure stable employment, support themselves, and live happy, fulfilling lives.
