VISITING THE ART EXHIBITION BY CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES: EMPOWER LIGHT

On April 24, 2026, students from The Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) embarked on a special journey into a world of light and faith at the "EMPOWER LIGHT" exhibition.

The lobby of Crescent Mall was transformed into a radiant space, filled with artworks by young artists from across the country. For CED students, each painting was more than just colors on a canvas—it was a sense of pride and a bold statement: "We are different, but we are brilliant." Our students found a magical resonance in how each artist perceives the world - through skillful hands, keen eyes, infinite creativity, and, above all, an extraordinary resilience of the heart.

The most touching moment was the experience of multi - sensory communication.

Here, invisible barriers were lifted as:

• Hands moved gracefully to the familiar rhythms of the Vietnamese Sign Language alphabet.

• Fingertips patiently glided over rows of Braille, and for the first time, our students hand-wrote letters using those "magical dots" to send their first greetings to new friends.

In this space, sound and light were no longer limits. There was only the profound understanding of souls coming together, closing the distance through mutual respect.

CED would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Organizers of Empower Light and the Lawrence S. Ting Fund (LSTF). Thank you for creating such a prestigious yet warm space where our students could confidently showcase their creative achievements. Your companionship is an invaluable source of energy, allowing the "inner light" of these children to shine brightly within the community.
