ORGANIZATION FOR SOCIAL WORK INTERNSHIP

On June 26, 2023, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) welcomed Mr. Le Anh Vu, Lecturer of the Faculty of Social Work, Ton Duc Thang University and 5 students who will have their internship at CED.

At the meeting, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh shared about the organization's formation process; Vision and Mission of CED; its activities/services and why they were developed. Ms. Hanh also shared about CED's products to support people with hearing loss; Results of CED activities in one year: types of services and number of beneficiaries using CED's services.

The meeting oriented the students about the role of a social worker at an organization: how to take notes, implement the intervention, the services that can support the intervention. At the end of the meeting, the students were asked to contribute ideas to further development of CED.
