EXTRACURRICULAR SESSION: WATCHING THE FILM "THE BFG – UNTOLD STORIES ABOUT THE LAND OF GIANTS"
On July 19, 2024, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), students participated in an extracurricular session to watch the film "The BFG – Untold stories about the land of Giants".
"The BFG" is an American film adapted from the short story of the same name by Roald Dahl, produced in 2016. The film centers around two characters: a Big Friendly Giant (BFG) and the girl Sophie. BFG collects dreams from a magical tree and blows good dreams into children's sleep. BFG's heart is warm and friendly, always protecting Sophie from evil forces. In return, Sophie helps BFG experience fun adventures and gain courage. They become special friends to each other.
The extracurricular sessions of watching films at the end of each month at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) help students access art and culture in the community, relax after hours of study and practice, and realize the value of friendship, the courage to always protect each other and handle situations in life together.
