DRAWING SESSION: COLLAGE THEME OF FACES AND CREATING WITH ALUMINUM WIRE
On July 30, 2024, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), students had a very interesting drawing lesson.
The theme in the STEM class was "Collage with Face Theme". The students were guided through the following steps:
- First, the teacher gave each student a small mirror.
- The teacher instructed the students to look into the mirror and observe their own faces.
- The teacher showed the students some famous artists' face collage works.
- Then, the teacher helped the students visualize the different parts of their faces.
- The students proceeded to cut, decorate, and complete their artwork this week and next week.
The theme in the primary class was "Creating with Aluminum Wire". The teacher guided the students through:
- Using pieces of aluminum wire to create unique shapes.
- Using tape to fix the aluminum wire creations onto a piece of cardboard.
- Decorating and completing the product.
Through this, the students could freely express their creativity and completed their favorite creations.
Drawing is one of the subjects in the official timetable of students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), to help them develop the hidden qualities of children with hearing loss, towards the inclusive path in the future.
