On July 9, 2024, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) students learned a very interesting drawing session. This time, they accessed to a new art learning method that combined with drawing and decorating paper and carton.

The topic of STEM drawing was “Collage”, the teacher guided students through the steps:

  • Using a pen to draw the image they like on paper.
  • Choosing the colored papers, then tearing and collaging them into their favorite images.
  • Using the color pencils to paint and complete their work.

The theme of drawing in Primary School was “ Creativity with pieces”, the teacher instructed them:

  • Freely drawing their favorite images onto the prepared carton puzzle pieces.
  • Using colored wax to fill the drawings on the puzzle piece.
  • Attaching the carton pieces together.
  • Decorating and Completing their product.

Thereby, students can be creative and complete their favorite piece of the puzzle.

Drawing is one of the subjects in the official timetable of students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), to help them develop the hidden qualities of children with hearing loss, towards the inclusive path in the future.
