ART CLASS: “CARDBOARD MODELS”

On the morning of April 15, 2026, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), STEM class students transformed simple cardboard pieces into fascinating works of art in their art lesson with theme: “Cardboard Models.”

During the lesson, the students began by sketching their ideas on A4 paper, then using cardboard to cut out shapes according to their drawings. Each detail was carefully adjusted and assembled using tape to create and complete their models.

With skillful hands and creativity, the simple pieces of cardboard gradually “transformed” into lively models such as animals, flowers, and unique decorative patterns. Not only focusing on the final products, the students also exchanged ideas and supported one another to make each piece more refined.

Although the lesson came to an end, the artistic models remained as lasting results. Without the need for expensive materials, it was the students’ creativity and dexterity that brought a completely new look to this simple material.
