CED ORGANIZATION FOR SOCIAL WORK INTERNSHIP

On November 17, 2023, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh – CED Director had a sharing session about Social Work with people with hearing loss for 19 students of the Faculty of Social Work of Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Ton Duc Thang.

The sharing session includes the following main contents:

- Types of hearing loss and their difficulties;

- Social issues related to people with hearing loss  and service formation of CED;

- Social impact CED has achieved;

- CED's products to support people with hearing loss.

Students were not only able to share about social work with people with hearing loss, but also be explained how to view clients' problems, how to solve problems, how to record intervention progress, and how to link resources of the community.
