YOGA WITH STUDENTS WITH DISEASE

On July 25th, 2022, the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had an exchange with two yoga instructors who come from Da Lat. The coaches had guided CED students to practice yoga movements to help them have sitting posture while studying, move in place and move in a healthy way.

Yoga is being loved by many people around the world with useful effects such as: helping to heal psychological damage by meditating, helping to improve health and spirit, reducing the risk of injury and recovering musculoskeletal muscles. Hopefully, organizing yoga classes for children with hearing loss helps them to be aware of protecting their own health and peace of mind.

The exchange was very fun, the students observed and followed the coach enthusiastically.

The Board of Directors and CED Teachers sincerely thank the two coaches for spending their time to share about yoga with CED students. CED hopes to organize more yoga sessions so that students with hearing loss can participate in yoga like everyone else, calm their souls, and reduce pressure when communication is always a great effort.

Organizations and individuals are interested in sharing Yoga for CED students, for public health and for a barrier-free inclusive environment, please contact
