WORKSHOP: HANDMADE NOTEBOOK & BOOKMARK
On the afternoon of March 27, 2026, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), students participated in a workshop themed “Handmade Notebook & Bookmark,” organized by third-year Social Work students from Ho Chi Minh City Open University.
In a warm and energetic atmosphere, the workshop was divided into two activity groups suitable for different age levels:
Primary class group:
The students decorated lovely bookmarks on pre-prepared templates. Their innocent drawings and vibrant colors created adorable products that reflected each student’s unique personality.
STEM class group:
Students experienced creating a complete handmade notebook, from preparing and arranging the inner pages, choosing their preferred cover, to punching holes, binding, and decorating. Each step was carefully and creatively completed, resulting in notebooks with distinct personal styles.
With the companionship and sponsorship of Little Cats Studio, the workshop was filled with focus, excitement, and active participation from the CED students. The enthusiastic support from teachers and University students also contributed to a meaningful and engaging learning environment.
The handmade notebook and bookmark workshop at CED officially came to an end with lots of laughter and memorable moments. The small, lovely creations completed today not only showcase the students’ creativity but also carry their personal imprints. Although the workshop has concluded, the spirit of creativity and appreciation for beauty will continue to accompany the students on their future journeys.
