TRAINING PROGRAM: THE COURSE 74 OF SKILLS IN COMMUNICATION WITH PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS (SESSION 6)

On August 04, 2024, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) trained for 15 participants, including 10 participants working in the fields of Education, Health Care, Laws, Communication, Social Activities, and 05 students about Vietnamese Sign language with basic level.

Vietnamese Sign language is one of two themes in the training program on Skills for Communication with People with Hearing Loss (Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Late Deafened). The second theme is lipsreading.

In the sixth session, participants reviewed the lessons they learned through sign quiz activities

and learned more sign language on the topic of Time and Weather. Time exists but cannot be seen and sign language has its own way of expressing visible for Time. Through the lesson, participants practiced making sentences, communicating and learning poems on the same topic. Hope the participants continue to review and practice more. See you next week.
