TRAINING PROGRAM: THE COURSE 74 OF SKILLS IN COMMUNICATION WITH PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS (SESSION 4)

On July 07, 2024, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) trained Vietnamese Sign Language – Basic Level for 22 participants, including 13 participants working in the fields of Education, Health Care, Laws, Communication, Social Activities, and 09 students.

Vietnamese Sign language is one of two themes in the training program on Skills for Communication with People with Hearing Loss (Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Late Deafened). The second theme is lipsreading.

In the fourth lesson, participants reviewed the Sign and songs learned in the first three lessons, learned more sign language on the topic of School, and the skill of guessing words in context and out of context. The teacher realized that the participants had mastered and signed correctly, clearly, and beautifully. This shows that they have practiced very hard. Hope the participants continue to review and practice more!

Sessions are held periodically on Sunday mornings.
