TRAINING PROGRAM: THE COURSE 74 OF SKILLS IN COMMUNICATION WITH PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS (SESSION 3)

On June 30, 2024, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) trained Vietnamese Sign Language – Basic Level for 22 participants, including 13 participants working in the fields of Education, Health Care, Laws, Communication, Social Activities, and 09 students.

Vietnamese Sign language is one of two themes in the training program on Skills for Communication with People with Hearing Loss (Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Late Deafened). The second theme is lipsreading.

In the third session, participants learned about Sign language on the theme of Family, practiced the introduction and described family members by sign language. At the end of the session, all together excitedly learned the signs of the song "Sweet home”.

Sessions are held periodically on Sunday mornings.
