STEM: ESSENTIAL OILS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS IN LIFE

On March 27, 2025, STEM students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) participated in a STEM lesson with the theme "Essential oils and their applications in life".
Without going into chemistry knowledge, the session included two parts:

- Theory: Learning about essential oils (what are essential oils? Where are essential oils found? Application of essential oils in life)

- Practice: Students proceeded to make insect repellent scent bags with simple and easy-to-find ingredients: medical masks (making bags), lemon, ginger, lemongrass, wind oil (get essential oils).
The session "Essential oils and the application of essential oils in life" not only helps students know how to reuse materials, limit waste to the living environment, but also develop teamwork skills, problem-solving skills, and know-how to make handmade products to use in life.
