NOTICE OF SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS PROGRAM

Center for Research and Education for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) would like to thank Vietnamese American Scholarship Fund (VASF) and Center for the Encouragement of Self-Reliance (CESR) for awarding 12 scholarships, each worth 50% fee (equivalent to VND 1.5 million / month), for students with hearing loss and adult who are illiterate, to study one year at CED.

 

Programs for children and adults with hearing loss who can apply for scholarships are:

 

1. Preparatory program for grade 1, for children with hearing loss who are 5-7 years old;

 

2. Inclusive Vocational Education Program, for students with hearing loss who have completed Primary School for the Deaf but do not have enough knowledge and skills for work, also cannot sit in their special school.Contents including:

 - Teach children to listen, speak and communicate;

- Provide guidance on drawing jobs, find outlets for their drawing products;

- Support the inclusion for children through exchange programs, outdoors, life skills teaching

3. Literacy elimination program for deaf adult who have never been to school and under 50 years old.

 

Parents, Teachers, Social Workers, Psychologists, ... know which cases of children and adults hearing loss are in need, please share the "CED Scholarship Program" to help to bring about the most practical effects to the community.
