EXTRACURRICULAR SESSION: WORLD HEARING DAY MARCH 3, 2024

On March 1, 2024, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), STEM students had an extracurricular session with the theme "World Hearing Day March 3".

The extracurricular session includes the following contents:

- Learn the concept of: Hearing, Audiogram...

- Causes of hearing loss/deafness and how to treat/overcome/prevent it.

- Introducing communication supportive devices: Hearing aids, cochleae ...

- The example of determination to overcome difficulties of people with hearing loss in the world and Vietnam, from musical genius Beethoven, female writer Helen Adams Keller, US former President Bill Clinton to Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh, Director of CED Center.

The extracurricular session "World Hearing Day March 3" not only helps students gain more knowledge and vocabulary but also increases their confidence and optimism, especially understanding that they need to make efforts in study and activities to overcome difficulties and obstacles to success when integrating into the community.
