EXTRACURRICULAR SESSION: WATCHING “THE MITCHELLS VS. THE MACHINES”

On October 11, 2024, students at the Center for Research and Education for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had an extracurricular activity watching the movie “The Mitchells vs. The Machines.”

The movie is a humorous animated story about the Mitchell family. As Katie Mitchell prepared to go to college, her family decided to take a cross-country trip to see her off. However, their journey was interrupted by a robot uprising. Robots controlled by an AI named PAL began attacking humanity. The Mitchell family, combining their unique skills and personalities, became humanity's last hope to stop the attack. They must learn to work together to overcome challenges and save the world.

The movie provided CED students with a fun-filled experience, full of humorous and touching moments, delivering a profound message about family and connection in the age of technology.
