EXTRACURRICULAR SESSION: VU LAN DAY
On August 15, 2024, STEM class students of the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had an extracurricular session with the topic “Vu Lan Day”.
The extracurricular session included the following contents:
- The meaning of Vu Lan Day, what day of the year is Vu Lan?
- Activities taking place on Vu Lan Day.
- The meaning of the color of roses worn on the chest on Vu Lan Day (red flowers, pink flowers and white flowers).
The extracurricular activity “Vu Lan Day” not only helped students gain more knowledge about the times of the year, but also taught them gratitude and filial piety to their parents.
