EXTRACURRICULAR SESSION: "RING THE GOLDEN BELL – LEARNING THEME"

"Ring the Golden Bell – Learning Theme" — this was the theme of an exciting and dynamic extracurricular session held on May 22, 2026, for the STEM students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED).

During the session, the students challenged themselves by actively answering a rich variety of questions spanning multiple fields, including Mathematics, Vietnamese, Science, and Life Skills. The atmosphere was always filled with enthusiasm, featuring highly confident and determined performances from our young contestants.

The program was organized on an individual basis (no teams), featuring a challenging competitive and knockout format:

• Format: A multiple-choice quiz where contestants think and raise their personal boards to select answer A, B, or C. Those who answer incorrectly are gradually eliminated until only the most outstanding individual remains on the field.

• Competition Rounds: The challenge spanned four intense rounds: Warm-up (10 questions), Acceleration (10 questions), Obstacle Course (10 questions), and Reaching the Finish Line (10 questions).

• Content: Each round integrated a diverse range of subjects, including 3 Vietnamese questions, 3 Math questions, 2 Communication questions, and 2 Life Skills questions.

The most unexpected and touching moment of the program occurred during the "Finish Line" round with the request: "Please invite a friend to sing the song 'Ba ngọn nến lung linh' (Three Sparkling Candles) with you." The miracle was that every student invited to support their peer coordinated perfectly, knowing the melody by heart and pronouncing every lyric correctly.

The extracurricular session concluded, but the echoes of victory from conquering the questionnaire and the relentless spirit of learning still remain completely fulfilled.
