EXTRACURRICULAR SESSION: LEARNING ABOUT THE TRADITIONAL CUSTOMS OF TET HOLIDAY.
On January 10, 2025, elementary students at the Center for Research and Education for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) organized an extracurricular class themed “Learning about the Traditional Customs of Tet Holiday”. During the class, the students listened to interesting stories about the origin and significance of Tet Holiday - the biggest traditional festival of the year for Vietnamese people. They were also introduced to unique customs such as making banh chung, banh tet, and decorating apricot blossom and peach blossom trees.
Moreover, the students participated in the “Role-playing Tet Blessing” activity - this hands-on experience helped them gain a deeper understanding of cultural values, the spirit of unity, and family love during Tet.
