On February 10, 2023, the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had a useful extra-curricular session for students with hearing loss.

The topic of this STEM class was "Cancer Prevention" on the occasion of World Cancer Day 4/2. This was a very practical topic to equip students with knowledge in healthy eating and daily living.

The session included knowledge of:

Cancer:

- The process of cancer formation

- Stages of cancer cell growth

Cancer prevention:

- Choosing nutritious foods

- Sports and entertainment activities

- Screening for cancer: regular check-ups or examinations. In addition, it is necessary to fully vaccinate to prevent diseases that are very likely to progress to cancer when infected: such as vaccination against hepatitis B virus, HPV...

Everything is possible.
