EXTRACURRICULAR: AUTUMN COLORS – A NEW BEGINNING

On July 31, 2026, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), STEM class students participated in a meaningful extracurricular session titled “Autumn Colors – A New Beginning.”

In the gentle atmosphere of the changing seasons, under the teacher's guidance, the students:

• Explored the characteristics of Autumn: From the timing (Lunar months 7, 8, 9) to flowers like chrysanthemums and wild sunflowers; birds, or seasonal fruits such as persimmons, grapefruits, and pomegranates...

• Read the poem "My Autumn" by Quang Huy together to feel the pure beauty of nature in autumn.

• Excitedly joined fun learning activities including: Autumn quizzes, picture-to-word guessing, puzzle flipping, and picking autumn leaves.

The highlight of the session was the "Bringing leaves back to the tree" activity. The contrast between the bare tree trunk with yellow leaves scattered on the ground and the vibrant green leaves hand-cut and pasted by the students conveyed the profound message of “Autumn Colors – A New Beginning.” This represents not only the transformation of nature but also the symbol of a new school year—a new phase filled with promises and determination to study and grow.

The extracurricular session not only provided useful knowledge about the world but also helped the students practice observation skills, dexterity, and team spirit. Their bright smiles and passion in every activity serve as positive energy for them to confidently step into a promising new journey.
