EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY: VIETNAM FAMILY DAY 28/06
Vietnam Family Day on June 28, 2024 has the theme: “Happy Family - Prosperous Nation” aimed at honoring the beautiful values of family, preserving and promoting the cultural and spiritual meanings that is rich in Vietnamese tradition, and highlighting the role of family in the construction and protection of the Homeland.
On the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of Vietnam Family Day (June 28, 2001 - June 28, 2024) at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), students attended an extracurricular activity themed “Vietnam Family Day.”
The extracurricular activity consisted of two parts:
- Part 1: Learning about Vietnam Family Day (Origin, significance, activities taking place)
- Part 2: Sharing plans to celebrate Vietnam Family Day.
The extracurricular activity “Vietnam Family Day” not only helps students learn about important days in the month, but also, through this day, educates them on the idea that each family has its own circumstances and lifestyle, but they all share the common Vietnamese tradition of valuing joy and happiness that comes from family, regardless of any circumstances.
