EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY: ENVIRONMENT AND NATURE PROTECTION
On December 13, 2024, students at the Center for Research and Education for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had an extracurricular lesson on “Environment and nature protection” with activities: Collecting and sorting used items such as waste paper, old notebooks, plastic bottles, old toys, etc and cleaning classrooms and common passages together.
After the extracurricular session, the students achieved the following positive results:
- Clean classrooms
- Tidy bookshelves
- Airy common walkway
- Beautiful green and clean garden
- Items were classified into groups: (1) utensils and equipment were inspected and cleaned to increase the use time, (2) Less-used materials are stored in case they need to be used, (3) items that are still good were reused, (4) some old items were recycled into decorations, (5) Waste were classified according to the provisions of the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 before transferring to the collection and transportation unit.
Thus, students not only joined hands to preserve a green, clean and beautiful learning environment but also joined hands to contribute to protecting the environment and nature from simple actions every day.
