EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY: ANIMATED MOVIE “A GOOD DINOSAUR”

 

 

This week, CED students enjoyed an animation named “A Good Dinosaur”. The students could learn good lessons from this film.

 

 

The film start with a question “What would have happened if the meteorite had not fallen 65 million years ago and the dinosaurs had not been extinct?  At that time, there is a timid dinosaur named Arlo who gets lost and steps into an adventure making him grown-up. Side by side with him, a human friend, Spot. Their journey goes through secret lands. Arlo learns from life how to face the fear and discover his potential abilities.

 

 

Through the movie, the students showed up many kinds of emotions: laughing by funny clips, touching by separation, excited by adventures, thrilling by fights, happy by reunion... The movie completely won their love.

 

After that, the students had to answers teacher’s questions to review and check their learning. Those were like “who are the key characters? How is his character? What’s happen to the Dinosaur Arlo? Who is his friend? How many challenges did they pass together?...”  The students learned from the Dinosaur Arlo “ Day by day the Dinosaur Arlo has not been weak anymore, he grew up and had a chance to print his footstep on the Family Rock like his father, mother, brothers”.

 

 

 

“Sometimes you gotta get through your fear to see the beauty on the other side.” Poppa, Arlo’s father said.
