DRAWING SESSION: DRAWING ON ICE CREAM STICKS AND TEARING PAPER TO MAKE PICTURES

On June 13, 2024, students had a drawing lesson at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED).

The drawing topic in the STEM class was "Tearing paper to make pictures". The teacher instructed the students to:

- Place one of the materials such as wood, bamboo, canvas, etc. under the drawing paper and rub it with wax.

- Tear the rubbed drawing paper and stick it on another piece of paper to create a picture with the theme of "landscape" such as mountains, seas, flower gardens, etc.

- Each student was invited to share their torn and pasted picture.

The drawing topic for the primary students was "Drawing on ice cream sticks". The teacher instructed students to use colored pencils to draw freely on ice cream sticks and then connect these ones in any shape they wanted. Drawing is one of the subjects in the official timetable of students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), to help them develop the hidden qualities of children with hearing loss, towards the inclusive path in the future.
