COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNICATION: WITHIN AND AROUND THE HOUSE (Continued)

Every Wednesday afternoon, students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) engage in Comprehensive Communication: Within and Around the House. On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, students participated in a session structured into three parts:

Part 1: Reviewing of previously learned vocabulary

Part 2: Learning new vocabularies

Part 3: Reviewing all vocabularies from the past sessions and practicing to write sentences with vocabularies.

The session helped students expand their knowledge and vocabularies related to objects, events inside and around their house.

At the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), comprehensive communication involves not only learning sign language but also includes support in speaking and pronunciation skills, providing students with more opportunities, confidence, and facilitating their integration into future life paths.
