CED AS PLACE FOR SOCIAL WORK INTERNSHIP
CED welcomed student Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Faculty of Sociology-Social Work - Southeast Asia, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, for her internship on personal social work from February 20, 2023 to May 10, 2023.
Through researching on CED students, Thanh Phuong recognized that P.H.N (6 years old) studying in the preparatory class and going to join the inclusive 1st grade in September 2023. The child was trained to listen, speak, and read very well, but he was not focused on writing. Therefore, Thanh Phuong chose P.H.N to support and empower him on the way to social integration.
After more than two months of internship, with the guidance of the supervisor, the sharing of the CED teachers and especially, and very good cooperation from P.H.N, Thanh Phuong created positive changes, in addition to the child good listening and speaking, now he is able to join the inclusive 1st grade.
CED would like to sincerely thank the Faculty of Sociology-Social Work - Southeast Asia, Open University of Ho Chi Minh City for introducing students to CED for internship and many thanks to Nguyen Thanh Phuong for arranging time to come to CED and bring joy to CED students.
