ART STUDY: IMAGINATIVE DRAWING AND OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING (CONT.)
Continuing the theme of "Imaginative Drawing and Observational Drawing,” on October 15, 2024, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), STEM students were guided through the following:
- Imaginative Drawing: Drawing their personal fears, such as darkness, bears, lions, and spiders.
- Observational Drawing: Students observed a sample object, which was a mini chrysanthemum branch, and then used watercolor pencils to draw it on art paper.
Through these two drawing themes, the students were able to develop their inherent abilities: observational skills, memory, focus, rich imagination, and especially the courage to confront their fears, helping them understand and overcome the fears they often carry.
