ART CLASS: CONNECTING SOULS AND EXPLORING THE ANIMAL WORLD THROUGH THE EYES

On August 4, 2026, students of the STEM class at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) participated in an emotional and creative Art session, bridging self-understanding with the exploration of the natural world.

The lesson began with the teacher and students admiring their self-portraits together. One by one, the students confidently stepped forward to share the stories behind their brushstrokes and their inner thoughts:

• Personal messages: What students want others to know about them through their paintings.

• Joy and relaxation: Sharing small things that make them feel happy and relaxed in life.

• Future aspirations: Desires and plans they cherish for their upcoming journey.

Following the heartfelt sharing session, the class moved on to a new topic: "Drawing Animal Eyes". Under the dedicated guidance of the teacher, the students:

• Observed the diversity and uniqueness of various animal eyes in nature.

• Learned how to capture the soul and alertness of animals through their eyes.

• Practiced and presented their own drawings, demonstrating meticulous observation and skillful artistic abilities.

The session was more than just a drawing lesson; it served as a bridge for CED students to express their inner thoughts, build confidence, and expand their vivid worldview through the lens of art.
