AMERICAN DEAF CHEF

 

The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) offers  community support Services and one of them is Sign language interpretation. The most common suggestion is the Vietnamese sign language interpretation.

 

They were to interpret a song, a part of movie into sign language, for the Hearing and a person with hearing loss/deaf, or for Deaf at an event/workshop.

 

In some cases, CED was invited to translate American sign language for American deaf tourists or to make international translations for British deaf guests,… For this service, two interpreters are required: one for American Sign Language (ASL) – Vietnamese Sign Language (VSL), the other for Vietnamese Sign Language (VSL) – Vietnamese spoken language and contrariwise.

 

 

 

Last time, CED Center was invited to interpret American Sign Language (ASL) to help an American deaf Chef learn cooking. This is the program of Sam’s Tasty Travels Inc – a Restaurant Travel Company managed by an American deaf Chef- he learned how to cook Vietnamese food to advertise on company’s Website and Facebook.
