Part 1: CED activities
- On June 1, 2023, Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) organized the School Year Closing Ceremony 2022-2023 and the International Children's Day.

- On June 1, 2023, Tam Nguyen Viet Charity Social Fund agreed to support scholarships for 07 difficult and studious students of CED in 2023.
- On June 2, 2023, “Listen to me” – that is the name of a community project for people with hearing loss by a group of students from the HCMC University of Economics (UEH). One of the project’s activities was “Making Rosaries – Connecting Souls”, launched at Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) on Friday (June 2, 2023).

- On June 4, 11, 2023, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) trained Lip reading - Basic Level for 47 participants of the 72nd Class of skills for communication with people with hearing loss (session number 9 and 10)
- On June 12, 2023, Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) attended an online meeting of 18 initiatives receiving funding from the Justice Initiatives Promotion Fund (JIFF) sponsored by the United Nations. European Union through the Ministry of Justice and Oxfam organization in Vietnam managed. CED is funded to implement the project “Let Our Voice Resound”.
- On June 15, 2023, Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) welcomed students from the Science Club of University of Science, Society and Humanities to exchange and organize Green Summer 2023 activities.
- On June 25, 2023, Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had the opening session of the course 73 of skills in communication with people with hearing loss for 31 trainees.
- On June 26, 2023, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) welcomed Mr. Le Anh Vu, Lecturer of the Faculty of Social Work, Ton Duc Thang University and 6 students who will have their internship at CED.

- On June 29, 2023, Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had an exchange and guided a 12th grade student on planning a community project for children with hearing loss. The meeting was at CED.
- On June 30, 2023, Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) received an official dispatch from the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment, the Ministry of Health of Vietnam inviting staff to join the Drafting Committee of Professional Documents. on rehabilitation and a handbook to assist deaf people in medical examination and treatment in hospitals.
- CED received:
+ 02 student enrolling in the inclusive class.
+ 01 student with hearing loss in grade 11 as a volunteer at CED.
+ 01 fourth year student majoring in social work, Ton Duc Thang University to practice for her graduation internship.
+ 06 second-year students majoring in social work, Ton Duc Thang University to practice on social work.
Part 2: CED’s Hearing Aid Fund Report
In June 2023, CED’s Hearing Aid Fund granted 21 hearing aids for 14 children with hearing loss, as following:
- Tran Anh Tuan, 11 years old, Ha Noi (01 hearing aid)
- Tran Thi Cam Nhung, 17 years old, HCMC (01 hearing aids)
- Vo Thinh Phat, 16 years old, HCMC (02 hearing aid)
- Vo Thi Huynh Nhu, 13 years old, Bac Lieu (01 hearing aid)
- Khoai Chau School for Rehabilitation and Vocational Training for Students with disabilities Trường (Hưng Yên): 10 students (16 hearing aids)

CED continues to note of wishes on joining the hearing aids granting program for children with hearing loss in poor families. Parents who have children with hearing loss under 18 years old and want to register for hearing aids, please register at this link:

We would kindly ask family whose children get approved for granting hearing aids to contribute 100.000 VND/hearing aid to the Hearing Aid Fund for children with hearing loss in poor families.

Part 3: Peer Consultation/Counseling
In June, Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) conducted 108 consultation/counseling cases on inclusive education for children/people with hearing loss, sign language interpreting at the court, counseling on spoken language development for children with hearing loss, skills for communication with people with hearing loss, legal aids for people with hearing loss, guiding students to practice social work with people with hearing loss, connecting and organizing extracurricular activities for students, job recommendation and connecting, cooperating activities with other organisations.
