2nd SESSION - SKILLS FOR COMMUNICATION WITH PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS CLASS 69 & 70
On August 13 and 14, 2022, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) trained Basic level in Sign Language for 49 participants who were students majoring in Special Education, Social Work, General Doctors, Community Health, Psychology, Oriental Studies, Marketing, International Business, Graphic Design… and some officers, social workers, teachers, doctors, monks and parents, etc.
Sign Language is one of two topics in the training program on Skills for Communication with People with Hearing Loss (Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Late Deafened), the second topic is Lips-reading.
In the second session, participants:
- Learned sign language about numbers.
- Practiced communication
- Learned sign language of the song “Practice Counting”.
Classes are held periodically on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Class 67 and Class 70 are held within the framework of the project "A world without barriers for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing" funded by the Australian Volunteers Impact Fund (APV), implemented by Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) in the year 2022 - 2023.
