ANNOUNCEMENT: Opening the Basic Sign Language Class
The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) will be opening the Basic HCMC Sign Language Class of Course 66:
Level : Basic
Content :
+ Theory : People with hearing loss, history of Vietnamese Sign Language, main Sign Languages in Vietnam; methods and techniques of communication, technique of signing, Deaf culture.
+ Practice : 10 lessons by subjects
Opening date : 17/11/2019
Studying time : 8am - 10am every Sunday morning from 17/11/2019 to 05/01/2020
Venue : Ly Nhon Primary School, 28 Plot I, Cu Xa Vinh Hoi, Ben Van Don, Ward 6, District 4, HCMC
(From District 1 passing Ong Lanh Bridge then turning right into Khu Pho Van Hoa 1, going straight to Three-way crossroads then turning right. The class is into the school, 1st Floor, Room number: 5)
Trainer : Duong Phuong Hanh (Director of CED and President of HCMC Deaf Association - HDA)
Tuition fee : 300,000 VND / course (8 sessions) (CED will offer certification to students who would not be absent over 2 classes. Certification fee is 20,000 VND)
Sign language CD : 50,000 VND / disk
