CAREER CONSULTANCY FOR A STUDENT WITH HEARING LOSS

The Center for Research and Education for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) gave a sharing with a parent on career for her Deaf son who is in senior high school.

During the consultation session, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of CED learned about the needs, abilities and aspirations of the deaf and his family for work. She shared about jobs suitable for the hearing impaired: graphic design, 3D drawing, garment, product packaging, etc., and connecting vocational training and jobs to people with hearing loss.

Besides, the parent is also encouraged for her son to study both culturally and vocationally so that he can equip his with knowledge and skills for future work.
