WHAT TO DO WHEN COVID – 19 RETURNS?

According to the Ministry of Health, the emergence of new sub-variants of the Omicron strain and the decreasing herd immunity are the reasons for the rapid increase in the number of new Covid cases. As of April 26, 2023, the whole country had 3 deaths from Covid-19 (Hanoi, Nam Dinh and Binh Duong).

Facing this situation, the Ministry of Health has advised provinces to strengthen epidemic prevention during the upcoming long holiday, reminding everyone to adhere to the V2K message (Masks - Disinfection - Vaccine).

Thus, masks are one of three measures to prevent Covid-19. However, masks are also a communication barrier for deaf people, except for transparent masks.

Transparent masks prevent droplets and bacteria, are quickly cleaned with soap or alcohol, and can be used many times, especially without obscuring the mouth, thus helping people with hearing loss lips-reading easily. Buying and using transparent masks protect your health as well as demonstrate the community's love and care for people with hearing loss.

At the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), transparent masks are ready to serve the needs of all individuals and organizations.
