CED conducted legal communication workshop on “Promoting the initial legal support and implementation of regulations on medical examination and treatment for people with hearing loss” at centers and schools for people with hearing loss.
In order to continue supporting and understanding deeper on the needs of people with hearing loss in these following areas:
1. Medical examination and treatment policy in hospitals (Ex: the need for sign language interpreter, the need in knowing about policy for medical examination and treatment of people with hearing loss…)
2. Daily legal issues that people with hearing loss need advising or direct legal support (Ex: the need for advising in disability certification, policies for people with disability, regarding medical insurance, social insurance, civil dispute, marriage and family, criminal issues…).
