ENTERPRISES AND CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR)

On January 11, 2023, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh – Director of Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) and teachers had a meeting with representatives of the Department of Social Responsibility, Diversity and Inclusion of PWC Vietnam Co., Ltd.

PWC is a multinational auditing corporation, currently operating in HCMC and Hanoi. The activities on social responsibility, diversity and inclusion that PWC are carrying out are:

- Supporting vocational training for young people with difficult circumstances.

- Connecting potential donors to organizations/individuals with suitable needs.

- Planning in recruiting people with disabilities to work at the company and as such PWC needs advice from organizations of people with disability on how to work and communicate with them.

During the meeting, representatives of CED and PWC shared with each other about the activities and projects that the organizations have been implementing. At the same time, the two representatives also exchanged orientations and expectations for cooperation and connection in the future.

CED appreciates PWC Vietnam's spirit of social responsibility and community support for the community of people with disabilities in general and people with hearing loss in particular.
