COMMUNITY SUPPORT: "SOCIAL WORK WITH FAMILIES"
On March 29, 2025, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had a sharing session on the topic "Social Work with Families" for 100 final year students majoring the Social Work, the Faculty of Social Sciences - Social Work – Southeast Asia, Ho Chi Minh City Open University at CED.
The sharing session focused on the following contents:
- Overview of CED: Operational model, Vision, Mission, and Education & Social Services
- Case study about the social work with families
- Q&A about CED's activities and the social work with families
CED also presented the Handbook "Let Our Voice Resound" to students.
In addition to the topic "Social Work with Families", CED is also often invited to share other topics such as: Social Work with People with hearing loss; Social Organization: Impact and Sustainability; Social Enterprise; Coordinating Education between three environments: Family - School - Community; Education for children with hearing loss; Inclusive Education.
