PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS AND EMPLOYMENT
Mr. C, who is late-deafened needs to find a job as a chef. Before losing his hearing, he had six years of experience working as a chef at a famous hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and two years as a chef at a small restaurant. He had also owned a restaurant and coffee shop in Long Xuyen City for eight years.
Recently, he contacted the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) for a job introduction. CED supported his interview for a chef job at a vegetarian restaurant.
Currently, he has found a job as a chef at a restaurant that is suitable for the expertise and experience he has gained, as well as having appropriate communication support during the working process.
Good luck with the job and reintegration after hearing loss.
